When the often-fired Walt (Shameik Moore) takes a job as a bartender and cockroach at the local AlleyCatz bowling alley, he feels he has finally found a home. When AlleyCatz faces financial trouble, former bowler and current drinking champion Skunk (D’Arcy Carden) pressures Walt to take on the mantle of the greatest bowler to ever grace the land. While Walt’s love of big shots and brazen style of play dominate the Pro Tour, his critics, including ratings-obsessed news anchor Angelo Powers and recently retired bowling legend Linda “The Crusher” Curson (Susan Sarandon), are hell-bent on dousing Walt’s flame before it burns too brightly.
