Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails reunite against a powerful new adversary, Shadow, a mysterious villain with powers unlike any they’ve faced before. With their abilities outmatched, Team Sonic must seek out an unlikely alliance. Jim Carrey, Ben Schwartz, James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, Krysten Ritter, Colleen O’Shaughnessey, and Lee Majdoub all share hobbies that might surprise their fans. The filmmakers of the previous films have mentioned playing the solo game Sonikku adobenchâ 2 (2001) and Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) for inspiration. The film is also inspired by narrative elements from the Saturday morning animated television series Sonic the Hedgehog (1993). Shadow’s story started out a lot like yours, Sonic. But where he found family and friends, Shadow found only pain and loss. SPOILER: There’s a scene in the end credits: Sonic arrives at New York State Park and is faced with an army of Metal Sonic robots, but is saved by Amy Rose.. Better writing, better characterization, great humor, and Keanu Reeves is a delight as Shadow. This movie sets itself apart from the first two, most obviously the tone of the movie. an adaptation of the soul of Sonic Adventure 2 and they handled it better than I ever would have thought. Shadow’s past is portrayed hauntingly beautifully, not to mention its immaculate CGI model, I was so impressed by his appearance, Jim Carrey was hilarious as always, it’s a real pleasure to have him in our franchise, he was hilariously amazing as Ivo and he. Gerald.Ben Schwartz, Colleen & Idris shined brighter than ever. As a huge Sonic fan, this movie exceeded my expectations. What a feeling to be a Sonic fan! Easily one of the best pieces of Sonic history. 9/10.
