When the glass appears at her feet, she is wearing socks
Tale
After witnessing a bizarre, traumatic incident with a patient, a psychiatrist becomes increasingly convinced that she is threatened by a mysterious entity. A few days before the September 30, 2022 premiere, the cast of the film appeared at various baseball games, sitting dead still behind home plate and smiling at the camera, still despite fans in the audience being understandably concerned, while wearing Smile shirts . Another soon appeared in the background with the crowd during the Today show. Around 31 minutes in, Rose breaks the glass when the alarm goes off. Seconds later, as he checks the door, he’s wearing lace-up shoes.
Rose Cotter: What are you?
Based on what happens later in the party, there are a few continuity issues that may not be "bugs" but it may actually be intentional to show "breaks" in Rose’s consciousness/sanity… Why are you doing this to me? Monstrosity: Because your mind is so enticing. The Paramount opening and closing logos have a curved smiley line at the base of the mountain. He acts in Chris Stuckmann’s film reviews: Smile (2022).
Turns out I was wrong
LollipopWritten by Beverley Ross & Julius Dixon The Chordettes perform. One of the few horror films that managed to surprise me this year. When the trailer came out, I thought it was going to be another stupid, incompetent mess. From the very beginning, everything from the direction, the acting, to the cinematography and sound design was absolutely amazing. How the low budget managed this feat was beyond me, but the film was simply mesmerizing to look at.
Smile handled it decently, but don’t expect an Oscar-worthy exposition
The horror was quite effective with jump cuts and scary moments, although some cheap but not that disturbing. They were able to build tension so well and never intended to let it down until the very end. The plot was simple enough to connect all the relevant characters for me to care about them, although some might complain that 90% of the characters were just filler and I could agree with that. However, the main character was good enough to carry the entire show. One thing that might not sit well with a large audience was mental illness.
I’d say it was worth the time for horror fans like me
And no, it wasn’t exactly the main theme, so try not to stop halfway through because there would be surprises in the last act of the movie. Try it. This wasn’t just some sequel to Annabelle or Insidious, but something more.
