American (English) Remake HPI (2021) Series in France
Tale
Follows Morgan, a single mother of three, and thanks to her exceptional mind, she is able to help solve a crime when she reconstructs evidence during her shift as a cleaner at the police department.. Despite her very high IQ, excellent memory and extensive knowledge of the arcane, Morgan makes a series of basic mistakes in the law that anyone who has watched a TV legal show knows not to make.
Admissible in a court of law
In the first episode, for example, she retrieves a document from a locked safe in the suspect’s – victim’s law office – evidence that would never be admissible in court – illegally obtained evidence. Nor could it be used to obtain other evidence – the "fruit of the poisonous tree" Violation of the legal principle of In episode 2, she has to be reminded to wear gloves before handling evidence at a crime scene, and in #3, she removes all documentary evidence from the police station, completely breaking the chain of custody and further destroying everything she removed.

Checking her TV resume away from Always Sunny , leading up to her role in The Mick , Olson slides onto the screen in this not-so-shot remake of the French procedural, but she definitely rocks with it. You can tell throughout the episode that Olsen was drawn to the project because it portrayed a struggling, strong-willed, talented woman.
Humor is stitched through her fiction, almost tongue-in-cheek in France
But what makes this series even better is the masterful cast led by Judy Reyes that grips you. Develop empathy for the players her character cares about rallying around her to seek justice.
The first episode is well done, but the editing could use some work
The series will be topped off by more scenes between Reyes and Olson.
