Miami, 1991. With his bloodthirsty desires no longer being ignored, young Dexter Morgan must learn to channel his inner darkness as he goes from student to vengeful serial killer under the tutelage of his father Harry. Christian Slater is older than James Remar was when Dexter (2006) first aired. Followed by Dexter: Resurrection (2025). Thank you for this series, and most importantly, it’s almost impossible to have a bad finale this time. It’s exactly what I personally and I think most Dexter fans needed after the devastating finale of New Blood. I can’t wait for the next episode, the vibes of the original series hit so hard, the cast overall seem great with the choices. With lead actor Halls’ voice in the background, it’s almost like he’s playing again. The music and songs are wonderful, the script is also very good for a pilot episode, everything seems to be going in the right direction, but I’m afraid to be happy because that’s how we all felt with New Blood.
