Neither protests nor force can touch it. Facts that contradict personal prejudices can simply be disbelieved -indeed, the fool can counter by criticizing them, and if they are undeniable, they can just be brushed aside as trivial exceptions..

Rich cinematography tells the compelling story of Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s faith in the face of the overwhelming evil of Nazism. However, this Angel Studios release most clearly grapples with the interpersonal struggles of living out faith when even the church capitulates to mass delusion.
I gave it a 9 out of 10 stars for an occasional conflation of historical events
This film is no facile hagiography of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, but honestly portrays his humanity as he and his circle of pastors struggle to work out their convictions and ethics. Highly recommended!
