David Kaplan: Yes
Tale
Mismatched cousins reunite for a trip to Poland to honor their beloved grandmother. The adventure takes a turn when the odd couple’s tensions resurface against the backdrop of their family history. When Benji and David visit their grandmother’s house in Poland, the setting is where Jesse Eisenberg; s real ancestors settled in the diaspora. Benji Kaplan: We’re moving, we’re staying light, we’re agile.
David Kaplan: Bathroom
Benji Kaplan: The conductor will come to collect the tickets. Benji Kaplan: He gets to the back of the train and starts walking toward the front, looking for the tramp.David Kaplan: Excuse me, are we the tramp?Benji Kaplan: Yeah. When he gets ahead, the train will be at the station and we will be free to go home. David Kaplan: This is so stupid.
This is our country
Tickets are probably like twelve dollars. Benji Kaplan: That’s the principle of the thing. We should not have to pay for train tickets in Poland. David Kaplan: No it wasn’t.
Real Pain is an amazing movie
They kicked us out because they thought we were cheap. Featured on CBS News Sunday Morning: Episode #46.44 (2024). Jessie Eisenberg and Kieran Culkin give career-best performances. I definitely believe that Culkin will be a major Oscar contender this year.
Eisenberg also wrote the script and directed the film
He knocked it out of the park at both of these tasks. The script of this film is consistently intriguing, emotional and funny. The film deals with some heavy subjects and handles them all so tastefully. It’s a film that clearly meant something to everyone who made it, and I’m sure you can see that in the final product.
