After a harrowing incident at their elite college, stepsisters Caroline and Lucien decide to maintain their power and reputation by seducing the daughter of the Vice President of the United States. This will be the third attempt at a television series, the world of Okrutne namjere (1999). A direct-to-video sequel, Okrutne namjere 2 (2000), with Amy Adams replacing Sarah Michelle Gellar as Kathryn Merteuil, was originally a scripted TV series before being edited into a feature film. Gellar later reprised the role of Kathryn in the 2016 NBC pilot Cruel Intentions (2016), which was not ordered to series. The "Silo" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
